VII. SOCIAL ISSUE OF THE MONTH ACTIVITY The February Social Issue of the Month is Animal Cruelty. This week's topic was about animals abused in the entertainment world. Amanda talked about hog-dog fighting, which happens in the south, calf-roping, and animal abuse in the circus. We then broke off into groups for an activity. Everyone was given a list of animal scenarios and was told to rank the top five cruelest and to cross off the ones they did not believe were animal abuse. Everyone had different opinions about what was and was not animal abuse. VIII. UPCOMING PROJECTS - Relay For Life: Zeil and Amy are the co-captains of our Circle K team, "Absolutely Fabulous".
