CALL TO ORDER, President Stefanie Theis, 7:10pm II. WELCOME to everyone, especially guests Don Kossick and Bill Tasch from the Ann Arbor Downtown Kiwanis. III. HAPPY CENTS Happy Cents is a segment of the meeting when anyone can deposit change into our special "Jaria Jar" and have the opportunity to share something that makes them happy. This week, we heard that Whitney is excited about her birthday next month, Kristin just finished her first eight-page paper of college, Jenna just finished the same paper, Stefanie is glad her professor let her take her exam early so that she could come to this meeting, and Tracy got to wear her dress (because of the New Year's themed meeting). IV. MEMBERS OF THE MONTH The members of the month for November are: <> Mary Lemmer <> Jenna Dahn Congratulations! V. PROJECTS IN REVIEW Sarah Biedron told us about Bell Ringing at the Salvation Army, which has been a very rewarding experience thus far. People have been very generous this season. VI. BIRTHDAY COMPETITION Every month we have a friendly competition to recognize birthdays, and this competition celebrated December and June birthdays. Contestants were asked a number of Christmas trivia questions, and this month, Alisha Opperman won the competition over Nick Hoffman and Whitney McEachran. VII. ROUNDTABLES We broke into groups to discuss various issues the club faces, such as meeting and social attendance, how to improve meetings, and how to make the website more user-friendly. VIII. UPCOMING PROJECTS In place of the Kiwanis Rummage Sale, there will be a Kiwanis Holiday Sale this Saturday that needs Circle K-ers to help with ringing people up and organizing merchandise. The CMU White Elephant Party is this Saturday; we will be going to CMU to participate in their white elephant gift exchange and make a home cooked meal. The Zingerman's tour is on Sunday, and we will be taken on a free tour of the creamery to sample cheeses and different flavors of gelato. OTHER PROJECTS: <> Holiday Decorating.............Sat.
