CALL TO ORDER, President Lisa Slominski, 7:10pm II. WELCOME to everyone, especially guest Don Kossick from Downtown Ann Arbor Kiwanis. III. PIE IN THE FACE The penny war concluded at this week's meeting with Kevin getting a whipped cream pie in the face. The pie was thrown by none other then Jolene, who has the highest service hours of all non-board members. In total, we ended up raising 139.76 for our provides child, Jaria. IV. MEMBERS OF THE MONTH Our first member of the month is Kevin Zhao, who was introduced by Lisa. Kevin was recognized for all the work he did setting up and running the poker tournament as well as the high level of involvement he gives to the club on a regular basis. Pam talked about Amy Mangieri, the other member of the month. Amy is recognized for her continuing and increasing level of commitment to this club, and for all the service she has done. V. BIRTHDAY COMPETITION For this month's birthday competition, MDER put on an eating competition with Lucky Stars cereal for St. Patrick's day. Rich won and will advance to the finals later this year. VI. SOCIAL ISSUE OF THE MONTH The MDER committee introduced the social issue of the month for March, the environment, with a competition for the whole club. We were divided into 4 groups and had to answer questions regarding the environment and recycling. I don't remember who won, but I'm pretty sure Kelly's team lost. VII. INTERROGATION BOX The interrogation box is by far my favorite box in Circle K. Even though some people had to be forcibly volunteered this Week, it was still more fun than a barrel of monkeys, complete with questions about sandwiches and aerobic leotards. VIII.
