CALL TO ORDER, Vice President Kevin Zhao, 7:10pm II. WELCOME to everyone, especially guests Don Kossick from Downtown Ann Arbor Kiwanis and Marissa from APO. Lisa and I (Eric) were both unable to make the meeting. Lisa was visiting a graduate school and I had a midterm. We were there with all of you in spirit though. III. APO SERVICE PALLOOZA Marissa, a speaker from APO, a community service fraternity on campus, told us about Service Pallooza. Basically this event will be about three or four hours of service followed by $2 bowling. For more information or to sign up check out our calendar online at www.umcirclek.org. IV. EXECUTIVE BOARD ELECTIONS Kevin spoke about the elections coming up Feb. 17th for Executive Board positions. Any member can run for any of the five positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Bulletin Editor. Nominations will take place at the next two meetings as well as the day of elections. If you have a question about any of the positions or are thinking about running you are encouraged to contact the person in currently in that position. V. ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS Due to the large amount of positive feedback received after the last roundtables we decided to do it again with new topics. MDER ran the discussion in small groups just like the other time. Topics were: Communication, Interest in Service Projects, Club Meetings. The idea were written down by MDER and will be looked at by MDER and the board. VI. BROOMBALL TEAM We hope to form a Circle K Broomball team this year. The way things are shaping up it looks as though we are going to be pretty awesome / unbeatable. There will be signup sheets at our next meeting if you are interested in being a part of history as a member on the most incredible broomball team that ever was! VII. INTERROGATION BOX We had the interrogation box back at this meeting. Pam was interrogated and had to propose to stranger. Suruchi had to explain exactly what she was going to be famous for. Are you wondering exactly what was said or what who Pam proposed too? Are you? Then you need to come to the weekly meetings! It's like when teachers give you printed notes, but with blanks here and there to force you to go to class. VIII. PENNY WAR UPDATE Kevin is way ahead of the game with -$22 and Nick is getting seriously beat, sitting at +$3. Lisa, Nguyen and I are all cruising at a comfortable -$13. The war will end on February 17th so bring those coins in quick. We have already raised over $90 for Jaria our PROVIDES child. IX. UPCOMING PROJECTS %~* Riverview Nursing Home ........ Mon. As such, I decided to Facebook my cat, Bruce. You should go check him out, his name is "Bruce the Cat." If you don't have Facebook, then you really need to get before people start forgetting who you are (if they haven't already.)
