CALL TO ORDER, President Lisa Slominski, 7:10pm II. WELCOME to everyone, especially guests Don Kossick and Bill Tasch from downtown Ann Arbor Kiwanis. III. MEMBER OF THE MONTH For the month of November we had two members of the month. The first was Nuram who was talked about by Kevin. Also, Karuna was introduced as member of the month by Nick. IV. BIRTHDAY COMPETITION The birthday competition for this month was run by the MDER committee at this week's meeting. The competition was a variation on the game "Scattergories" where players had to come up with words beginning with a certain letter, all related by a theme, such as "winter songs." Nick won the competition and will compete at the end of the year in the finals. V. JEOPARDY To review some fun and interesting facts from the semester we all played a Circle K trivia Jeopardy game. The meeting was divided into three teams and rules were similar to the TV version of the game. Questions included: "Which project has occurred most frequently this semester?" and "Name the month Lisa Slominski was born in." VI. SOCIAL POINTS Lindsay, our social chair, has been keeping track of everyone's social points this semester and prizes were handed out for those with the most points. Points are awarded for attending socials, bringing friends to socials, and wearing your Circle K t-shirt to socials. First prize went to Pam with a $30 shopping certificate to Briarwood mall. VII. SKI TRIP UPDATE We all got an update on the Circle K ski trip, planed for the first weekend we are back from winter break. If you have your own equipment the trip will cost around $60-$70 and equipment rental is expected to be about $30 more. There are plenty of people going who don't ski, and there will be lots of other activities, so don't worry if you don't ski. Friends are welcome to come and the more people we get to go, the cheaper it will be for everyone. VIII.
