1.     CALL TO ORDER, President Lisa Slomionski, 7:10pm



II.    WELCOME to everyone, especially guest Ronda Warren from the Ann
         Arbor News.



III.   CIRCLE K FACT
         We started a new thing this meeting with called "Circle K:
         did you know?" Every week or so the MDER committee will be
         presenting a new and interesting fact about our club. This
         week Phillip talked about the structure the district and
         international levels of the club.



IV.    FEATURED PROJECTS


         ^)^ K-Kids ^)^
            We will be going to Berry Elementary School to help run
            the K-Kids meetings. K-Kids is a community service club
            of sixth grade students. We teach them about community
            service and help them perform service projects. We also
            foster discussions about leadership and community service

VI.    WARM THE CHILDREN
         Ronda Warren from the Ann Arbor News spoke with us today about
         their Warm the Children. The program collects money from News
         readers and business in the Ann Arbor area and the money is used
         to purchase new coats, hats and other such things kids need to
         stay warm in the cold winter. Every year Circle K helps out by
         going to Meijer with the family to purchase the items. Sorry but
         due to the large interest at the meeting all the families have
         already been claimed.



VII.   SCAVENGER HUNT
         We had a fun scavenger hunt around the Union today to help people
         learn there way around and discover some important Circle K info.
         The hunt lasted for a about 20 min and the winning team was awarded
         Stuchi bucks.



VIII.  SOCIAL POINTS SYSTEM
         The social points system was introduced at this meeting by the social
         committee. The system awards points for Circle K members who are
         active and social. One point is awarded for attending a social and
         extra points can be earned by wearing your shirt or bringing a
         friend. Those with the most points at the end of each month will be
         awarded prizes.



IX.    NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS
         Kevin our Vice President introduced all the new committee members.
         We have 86 people in our committee system already this year. This
         is incredible and we hope to gain even more next semester.



X.     CLOSING
         After the meeting we went to House of flavors for drinks for the
         Social. See you next week, same time, same place!
