CALL TO ORDER, President Lisa Slominski, 7:10pm II. WELCOME A big hearty thank you to everyone who came to installations. Special welcome to our guest Bill Tasch from downtown Ann Arbor Kiwanis. We honored Bill today for his help and support throughout the year with a special gift. He received a Circle K shirt, a Circle K water bottle, and a certificate. III. END OF THE YEAR SUPER BIRTHDAY BLOWOUT TRIATHALON The MDER committee outdid themselves today with the end of the year birthday competition. The winners of the monthly competitions battled it out in a three event triathlon. The event was kicked off with members of MDER running into the room throwing candy everywhere. The first event was a round of questions regarding the social issues of the month presented by MDER throughout the year. Mike was in the lead with three points going into the second round, a charades contest! At the start of the third round there was a three way tie between Mike, Nick, and Lisa. The final round involved doing laps of the Michigan room on what seamed to be some kind of four wheeled dolly using only your hands. Nick smoked all competition and went on to win the event and a hot new super soaker water gun. *B* BIRTHDAY TRIATHALON WINNER *B* *B* Nick Hoffman *B* IV. PROJECTS IN REVIEW Lindsay talked about Huron River Clean Up and the deceased native wildlife that was encountered. Other then that however the project was a great success. Rupert talked about his trip to Recycle Ann Arbor and his first impressions of the huge facility. Circle Kers basically go to shift through what should be saved and what should be thrown out. V. SOCIAL POINTS AWARDS This year a new concept was introduced to our club, social points. Members could earn points for going to socials, wearing their shirts or pins at socials, and bringing friends along. Prizes were awarded to the top three Circle Kers with the most points. *B* 3rd Place: Nick Hoffman *B* *B* 2nd Place: Payal Patel *B* *B* 1st Place: Lynne Strickler *B* VI. T-SHIRT DESIGN Every two years UM Circle K comes out with a new T-shirt and it's time again to design a new one. We passed out paper with blank shirts and set the members to work thinking up new ideas. A lot of good suggestions were put on paper, as well as a few questionable ones. If you were not able to make it tonight or you still have a good idea you want to see on a shirt, don't worry, we are still taking submissions and we will be voting on a final design in the upcoming weeks.
