GIFT OF LIFE SPEAKER Dr. Michael Hagan, a member of the board of directors of Gift of Life spoke about his amazing experience. He received a liver transplant, and through a variety of events has become very close with the family of his donor. Dr. Hagan also informed as that 6,000 people died last year waiting for an organ transplant, and that it could have been avoided had more people signed up to be donors. To register for organ donation or for more information, visit the gift of life website at www.giftoflifemichigan.org V. BIRTHDAYS The MDER (Membership Development Education & Reflection) Committee was at it again! This month, everyone with a birthday or a half birthday in March celebrated with a game of Find the Clover. One four leaf clover existed in a pile of many three leaf clovers.
