PROJECTS/SOCIAL IN REVIEW Lisa and Matt talked about CK Service Day, where we spent the day hanging drywall with Habitat for Humanity, and then went out to dinner afterwards. Hanging drywall may sound boring, but there were plenty of humorous incidents and great stories. This may very well have been the best Project in Review yet, as several questions followed Lisa and Matt's description of the event. Pam and Eric talked about the Scrapbook Social, where we worked on the scrapbook while enjoying candy and socializing. VI. K-FAMILY JEOPARDY The K-Fam Committee put together a game of Jeopardy with the categories "Kiwanis", "Circle K", "Key Club", and "Potpourri". Five groups battled it out to ring in first and answer the questions. Some of the Trivia questions were: ~o~ What is the motto of Kiwanis? ~o~ Where did U of M Circle K last win the 1st place club achievement award for the large club division? ~o~ What are the three tenants of Circle K? The cord is trailing behind me, but I'm carrying a few other things so I don't notice. The door to the elevator closes, and right after it is fully closed, we realize that the end of the cord (with the plug on it) is on the other side of the elevator door. The elevators starts moving down, the cord starts sliding from the bottom of the elevator door to the top, and Payal is banging on buttons to try to get the elevator to stop. (All within a few seconds) One the cord reaches the top corner of the elevator door, it starts sucking the boom box towards it, so I am in the elevator wrestling with the elevator door to hold onto the boom box. Eventually the cord snapped, and the boom box remained intact (sans the cord) Later I found the severed piece of cord on the 4th floor. These are the kinds of things that happen to me.
