BIRTHDAYS We celebrated the December birthdays and the June half-birthdays MDER style! Everyone with a December or June birthday participated in the montly birthday challenge, which consisted of throwing magnetic darts at a dart board. The person with the dart closest to the center will come back at the end of the year to compete in the final birthday showdown for a prize. IV. MEMBER FEEDBACK Paper was passed out and members gave their anonymous feedback on the meetings. Things to consider were what they liked, didn't like, and things they want to see in the future. SOCIAL ISSUE OF THE MONTH Continuing with the theme of children's health, the MDER committee talked about projects Circle K participates in that deal with this issue. Projects include: Home of New Vision Peace Neighborhood center St. Louis Center VII. PR Committee The Public Relations committee led this week's activity, which was to design the newest Circle K flyer! We split into five groups and had to come up with a new and fun flyer that had a movie theme to it. A voice vote was supposed to determine the best flyer, however they were all so good that the PR committee is going to attempt to use as many as possible. The flyer ideas were: "Finding Circle K" (Finding Nemo) "Circle K is Like a Box of Chocolates" (Forest Gump) "Circle K Gone Wild" (Girls Gone Wild) "Who ya gonna call? Circle K!" (Ghostbusters) VIII.
