                        Circle K Meeting Minutes
                           November 14, 2002



I.    Call to Order, President Mike Pearson, 7:10pm


II.   Welcome
       Welcome to everyone who joined us this evening, especially Amar
       Deswani and Mara Burns from 30 Hour Famine.


III.  T-shirts
       The new University of Michigan Circle K t-shirts are available for
       immediate purchase.  $10 for short sleeves and $12 for long
       sleeves.  The shirts will be available at meetings and in the
       Circle K office.  All you need to do is fill out a form (also
       available at meetings and the office) and give us some money and
       you will be a proud owner of a new shirt!


IV.   Members of the Month
       Three members were recognized and presented with Stucchi's gift
       certificates for their outstanding enthusiasm and service in the
       month of September.  Congratulations to our Members of the Month.

V.    Birthdays
       The membership development and education committee put together a
       poker activity for members with birthdays in September, October and
       November.  No one got the hand.  For those of you with birthdays in
       the aforementioned months keep an eye on your mail for
       your playing card and e-mail the other people in the envelope.  If
       everyone with a card in the winning hand gets to a meeting, you'll
       win a big prize!


VI.   Quiz about Members
       We talked to the people next to us for a minute and then we shared
       with the group their favorite board member, their favorite project
       and several other things.  Always remember to keep meeting people
       in the club - you can make friends throughout the year!


VII.  30 Hour Famine
       The 30 Hour Famine at U-M will be held February 7th and 8th.  There
       will be lots of activities and fundraising.  It only takes $28 to
       feed a child for a month in Lebanon, so every little bit of money
       we raise will make a difference.  If you are interested in helping
